Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
KillTax is a trade name and commercial publishing brand operated by Dustr App LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Our registered address is 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
We collect only what's necessary to deliver the product and communicate with you:
- Email address. Collected when you join the KillTax App waitlist, purchase the playbook, or contact us.
- Name (optional). Collected at checkout via Stripe if you choose to provide it.
- Purchase information. Transaction metadata (amount, date, country for tax purposes). We do not receive, store, or process credit card or bank account numbers. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe.
- Correspondence. Any message you send us via email.
- Technical information. We do not currently use analytics software on killtax.com. If we add analytics in the future (for example, a privacy-respecting service such as Plausible or Fathom), we will update this policy and disclose what is collected.
3. How we use your information
- To deliver The Audit-Proof STR Host and associated tools after purchase.
- To send product updates, new releases, and marketing communications related to KillTax products and the forthcoming KillTax App.
- To respond to your questions, refund requests, or support inquiries.
- To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
4. Marketing communications and consent
By purchasing The Audit-Proof STR Host or joining our waitlist, you consent to receive product-related and marketing communications from KillTax, including notifications about new products, updates, and the KillTax App.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time. Transactional emails (purchase confirmations, refund notifications, important account or product notices) will continue to be sent regardless of marketing preferences, because they are required to deliver what you purchased.
5. Service providers we share data with
To operate KillTax, we share limited information with the following third-party services. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf:
- Stripe, Inc. — Payment processing. Handles all card and bank data directly. Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Zapier, Inc. — Automation connecting Stripe to email delivery. Zapier's Privacy Policy.
- Google LLC (Google Workspace). — Email delivery for the [email protected] address. Google's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — Website hosting and DNS. Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Legal disclosure
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, the rights of others, or the safety of any person.
7. Data retention
We retain purchase records for seven (7) years to comply with tax and accounting obligations. We retain email addresses on our marketing list until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe, your email is removed from marketing rotations but may persist in our records of past purchases for the retention periods noted above.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our retention obligations.
- Opt out of marketing communications.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond to verified requests within thirty (30) days.
9. Security
We use industry-standard practices and reputable service providers (Stripe for payments, Google Workspace for email, Cloudflare for hosting) to protect your information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. By using KillTax, you acknowledge this inherent risk.
10. International users
KillTax is operated from the United States and sells only to residents of the United States. If you access killtax.com from outside the U.S., please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. If you are not a U.S. resident, please do not submit your information to us or attempt to purchase our products.
11. Children
KillTax is not directed to, or intended for use by, anyone under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. For material changes, we'll notify existing customers via email. Continued use of KillTax after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
